At the 2025 China Automation Industry Annual Conference (CAIAC 2025), ABB won multiple awards with its outstanding product lineup, among which the new-generation GoFa™ collaborative robot became the spotlight with its groundbreaking performance.

The Ultra Accuracy function option equipped in this robot represents an industry technological breakthrough, achieving an incredible path accuracy of 0.03mm, which is 10 times higher than similar products on the market, successfully setting a new precision standard for collaborative robots. This core advantage makes it irreplaceable in high-precision demand industries such as electronics manufacturing, automotive parts, aerospace, and metal processing.

In the gluing and sealing processes of consumer electronics production, the GoFa™ cobot can precisely control the glue application trajectory and dosage, ensuring perfect consistency of product sealing performance and appearance quality; in the laser welding of automotive parts, its ultra-high precision can ensure the welding point position error is close to zero, significantly improving welding strength and product consistency.

In addition to precision advantages, the GoFa™ cobot also features high-speed movement and full-dimensional flexibility. Unlike the traditional 2D gantry systems commonly used in electronics manufacturing, the robot can achieve 6D motion in the entire workspace without additional calibration, flexibly adapting to diverse production tasks. Its compact and portable design can be easily integrated into existing production lines, significantly reducing equipment modification costs, and the installation and deployment time is shortened by more than 40% compared with traditional robots.

Paired with ABB's exclusive RobotStudio® offline programming software, the Ultra Accuracy function can maximize its effectiveness. The matching degree between software simulation and actual production is as high as 99%, achieving zero post-correction programming. Both newly purchased equipment and existing robots can be conveniently upgraded with this high-precision function option.
